Quantity Surveyor Rail – Manchester

Salary: £40,000 + pkg

Region: Manchester

We are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor based in Manchester to work for a main civil engineering contractor on a permanent or contract basis. This will be working on a number of station upgrade projects, predominantly platforms across the North West Region, based in Manchester.

Candidate Requirements & Responsibilities

• Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management
• Previous Quantity Surveying experience, ideally on rail based projects
• Understanding of the NEC & NR forms of contract
• Autonomously undertake the CVR process
• Procurement of Sub Contractors
• Experience liaising with client
• Accurate forecasting and cost / value reporting
• Be aware of contractual requirements of the project
