The services of Hays have been retained by our client, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE), to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their Asset Management team in Craigavon on an ongoing temporary contract basis.

Your new role

You will ensure the effectivemercial management of Planned Works andpliance related investment in NIHE properties. You will ensure that works are planned effectively, affordable and delivered to a high standard with minimal defects to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved. This will include:

Preparing or assisting in the development of specifications, drawings, bills of quantities and schedule of rates to enable the invitation of tenders and quotations;
Providing support for the correct interpretation of contract terms and conditions, ensuring thatmercial risk is effectively managed;
