This is a hands‑on leadership role, leading QA across all shifts and ensuring food safety, legality, and quality risks are identified, challenged, and controlled in real time. You’ll drive robust investigations, effective CAPA, and lasting improvement — not just compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and line manage QA Supervisors (AM / PM) and the Technical & QA Co‑ordinator
* Set and drive clear QA priorities aligned to site risk
* Ensure consistent, independent QA coverage across all shifts
* Coach QA teams in confident decision‑making, behavioural challenge, and escalation
* Own HACCP, CCP monitoring, allergen controls, GMP, hygiene, and raw material verification
* Own environmental monitoring and hygiene verification programmes
