Position Overview
:
The Quality Engineer will design and implement quality control process sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques. Provide oversight and drive improvement of sampling, qualification, and lot procedures.
Reporting Relationships:
The Quality Engineer reports directly to the Quality Manager.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Utilize Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA)Assist with the verification and resolution of non-conforming productsAssist with development of PFMEA, Gage R&R, and other Zero-Defect projectsWork on record retention, proper identification, and record storageGain an understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing methods, finishes, quality requirements, and assembly requirementsOther duties as assignedRequired Skills:
