Position Overview
The Quality Controller (Joinery) is responsible for ensuring all custom joinery and millwork items meet the required quality standards at every stage—raw material receipt, workshop fabrication, pre‑delivery inspection, and on‑site installation. This role protects the company’s quality reputation by identifying and resolving non‑conformances before they reach the client.
Key Responsibilities - Inspect incoming raw materials (MDF, plywood, solid timber, veneers, laminates, hardware) against approved submittals and purchase specifications.
- Conduct in‑process quality checks throughout workshop fabrication (cutting, edging, assembly, laminating, finishing, and hardware installation).
- Perform pre‑delivery inspections (PDI) of all completed joinery items before dispatch to site, document findings, and approve or reject items.
