JOB SUMMARY


Under the direct supervision of the Quality Director, the Quality Control Engineer evaluates the Quality System and the manufacturing process to provide information for quality improvement by monitoring, testing and reporting on the quality of materials and products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

+ Promote and support the requirements and principles of the Precise Quality Management System and AS9100.

+ Compile and submit product qualification packages using various customer formats (i.e. APQP, HPQP, PPAP).

+ Submit and manage SCARS and waivers using customer software and computer portals.

+ Manage the receiving inspection process.

+ Perform final review for Harris RF parts.

+ Determine and implement quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.

+ Develop sampling plans by applying attribute, variable and sequential sampling methods.
