The project involves the construction and fit-out of the HS2 SCS headhouse and ventilation-shaft infrastructure, forming part of the wider high-speed rail route that will ultimately enhance connections between London and the Midlands. The headhouse and shaft complexes provide critical ventilation, smoke extraction, emergency access and operational support for the HS2 tunnels.
VVB Engineering are engaged as the specialist subcontractor responsible for delivering Mechanical, Public Health (PH) and Low-Voltage (LV) electrical distribution works.
This position is responsible for working with and supporting the Head of Construction Assurance and the Construction Teams to ensure that all works delivered by VVB are executed in accordance with SWI 550 Technical Assurance, SWI 500 Quality Management, and the VVB Technical Assurance and Quality Management Plans.
