Position Overview
Summary / Position Purpose:
The Outgoing Inspection Technician will perform functional tests of electrical, electro-mechanical, and electronic measuring recording and indicating instruments and equipment for conformance to established procedures and specifications. Assists in formulating calibration standards.
Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:
Tests rental equipment and used units, determines functionality of instruments. Determines whether unit is ready for shipping. Work with lab personnel and equipment operators to ascertain problems with equipment breakdowns and to determine if breakdown is due to human error, mechanical problems or, electronic/electrical problems.
