Mandarin Oriental, Singapore is looking for a Purchasing Executive to join our Finance team.

Role Summary

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore within the Finance Department, the Purchasing Executive assists in managing the daily operations of the Materials Management department and reports to the Director of Purchasing.

Duties

• Source and purchase all food & beverage items for the hotel.
• Assist the team to source non‑food items for the hotel.
• Negotiate with suppliers on prices and quality.
• Check status of delivery for all food items and assist in checking the delivery of non‑food items.
• Follow up with suppliers on samples, quality, and conduct yield tests regularly on chilled and frozen food.
• Assist and coordinate with suppliers for audit visits and update details in the Food Supplier Audit Register.
