Description
Robert Half is hiring a Purchasing Assistant for a manufacturing client to support dayβtoβday purchasing, inventory, and invoice processing activities. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the manufacturing industry whose seeking an opportunity to support inventory accuracy within a fast-paced environment.
What Youβll Do
+ Process purchase orders, incoming material receipts, and vendor invoices
+ Track open purchase orders and reconcile order documentation
+ Manage vendor statements and assist with invoice discrepancies
+ Use a shared email inbox to receive and manage invoices
+ Partner closely with plant staff to resolve material or receiving issues, receiving phone calls as needed
+ Run reports in the ERP system and Access
+ Apply pricing and values to inventory using Excel
+ Assist with inventory reporting and valuation
