Job Summary
The Purchasing Staff is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and monitoring materials, supplies, and equipment needed by the company. They ensure timely procurement, accurate documentation, and cost-effective purchasing while maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and process purchase orders and requests
Source suppliers and compare prices, quality, and delivery schedules
Coordinate with suppliers regarding quotations, deliveries, and payments
Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability of materials
Maintain purchasing records, invoices, and related documents
Track and follow up pending orders and deliveries
Coordinate with warehouse and other departments regarding material requirements
Ensure purchased items meet company specifications and standards
