Summary The Purchasing Agent position is located in the Prosthetics & Sensory Aid Service within the Prosthetic Service Line at Jesse Brown Medical Center. The Purchasing Agent performs work to procure supplies and services to meet the purchase, rental, and lease needs of the organization. Responsible for clerical and assistant work; the work performed supports Medical Centers, Veterans Outreach Centers, Regional Offices and Community Based Outpatient Clinics. Responsibilities This position involves a multi-grade career ladder. The major duties listed below represent the full performance level of GS-6. At the GS-5 grade level, the employee performs assignments of a more limited scope and with less independence.
