Position Overview
- Sourcing – Source and select suppliers for required products/services.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with vendors to secure best possible deals while maintaining quality and delivery requirements.
- Management – Generate & issue PO, tracking &monitoring OOR (Open Order Report), ensure on-time delivery.
- Prepare, process, and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Inventory Control – Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, analyse usage to minimize excess inventory.
- Record Keeping – Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, addressing any issues related to product quality, delivery, or pricing.
- Work with various departments (inventory, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth procurement and supply chain operations.
