This role plays a key part in supporting the smooth running of the accounts payable function, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and payments are made efficiently while maintaining strong financial controls.
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will:
Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring correct coding and approvals are in place. Match purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes, resolving discrepancies where required. Prepare and process supplier payment runs in line with agreed payment terms. Reconcile supplier statements and investigate any outstanding balances or queries.
