Pirniehall Primary School serves the community of West Pilton and is in the Craigroyston Learning Community. In Session 2025-26 we have 263 children organised across nine classes and our 24 place Nursery. Most children live in Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation deciles 1 to 5. Approximately one half of children require additional support with their learning and one fifth have English as an additional language.
