Overview


Position is responsible for providing a secure environment and reducing public safety risks in the college campus.


Responsibilities


+ Protect persons and property from unlawful activities and provide a safe and secure campus environment.

+ Observe/report unlawful/ unauthorized activities. Identify suspicious people, behaviors and circumstances that may pose a public safety risk and take immediate and appropriate action to prevent incidents.

+ Patrol campus/buildings. Monitor building conditions and respond to unsafe conditions, hazards and emergency situations. Follow safety guidelines. Respond to public safety alarms and assist with lockouts.

+ Enforce parking regulations, give directions and respond to requests for assistance and information.
