Eventus Legal are seeking a Public Law Solicitor with experience to join a well-established firm based in County Durham, to specialise in Care Proceedings. The successful candidate will be working with a well-known and respected Family law team. The role is a permanent position.

Role responsibilities

The successful Public Law Solicitor will be tasked with progressing a caseload of publicly funded family law matters, with particular focus on Care Proceedings, along with pre proceeding matters such as PLO and child protection. The role will involve managing your own caseload, supporting your clients and undertaking your own advocacy where possible.

Person specification

Applications are welcomed from Solicitors and Legal Executives, ideally with a minimum of 1 PQE, but newly qualified Solicitors will be considered if you have experience within care‑procedings. More experienced applicants are welcomed, with no upper limit. You must...
