Summary
Maintains equipment as needed, constructs and maintains fire training props under the supervision of the Director of Fire Programs by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Performs inventory and inspection of all equipment used for fire and rescue training both periodically and after each use. Establishes and maintains records on the use, care, and maintenance of firefighting equipment in accordance with national standards and generally accepted industry practices. Establishes and maintains records on the use, care, and maintenance of technical rescue equipment including but not limited to: rope, struts, chains, hydraulic and pneumatic rescue equipment, hoses, gauges, and pressurized air cylinders equipment in accordance with national standards and generally accepted industry practices.
