About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Health Services Manager and under the clinical direction of the Clinical Lead, the clinical psychologist (PhD) will provide empirically supported assessment and treatment services to adults who have crossed legal sexual boundaries. The Forensic Sexual Behaviour Program (FSBP) offers specialized assessment and treatment services across Nova Scotia. Treatment is offered in four Health Zones across the province (Kentville, Dartmouth, Truro, Sydney); assessment is centrally located in Dartmouth.

Responsibilities

• Program development activities, research, and prevention initiatives.
• Sexual recidivism risk/need assessment and facilitation of specialized group treatment.
• Participation in team meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration.
