Position Overview CAPS is a member of the Division of Student Affairs, where We make learning possible. In collaboration with our colleagues across campus, we prepare students to succeed through personal development, peer engagement, lifelong learning, and social responsibility. Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is comprised of the Clinical Service and Campus Assistance, Resource, and Education (CARE) teams. We are an interdisciplinary team of professionals that work collaboratively to meet the diverse mental health needs of a global student community. The goal of the Counseling Center is to provide students with clinical, educational and outreach-based services that benefit the mental health and well‐being of all Jayhawks. Our services are primarily short‐term in nature, and we make referrals to other helping professionals and community agencies as appropriate.
