Position Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychological services to hospital patients in accordance with protocols.
- Conduct clinical evaluations and prepare documentation compliant with Title 22, The Joint Commission, and DOJ standards.
- Work under the direction of the facility's Chief Psychologist or designee.
- Provide services to all referred patients—no refusals permitted.
- Maintain compliance with all security, credentialing, and documentation requirements.
- Support care delivery only when civil service staffing options have been exhausted.
For Psychologists:
- Must hold a current, active California Psychology License issued by the California Board of Psychology.
- Ability to work in clinical and/or forensic programs.
- Must submit a current Curriculum Vitae (CV) and a letter of interest indicating availability.
