POSITION SUMMARY

The Corrections Psychiatrist at Cumberland County DOC, Bridgeton will be responsible for the delivery of psychotherapy, diagnostic, and therapeutic services in a contract facility. The Psychiatrist will also act as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team and a liaison with other medical disciplines. The Psychiatrist diagnoses and treats patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, and organizes data concerning the patient's family, medical history, and onset of symptoms obtained from the patient, relatives, and other sources, such as nurses and social workers.
