Our client is advertising an opportunity for a Psychiatry consultant to permanently join their team at a public hospital in the North Island of NZ.

The ideal start date for this position is 1 November 2025.

Located in Auckland, this is one of the largest tertiary teaching hospitals in New Zealand, with around 800 beds.

Annually, the hospital admits more than 91,000 in-patients, and handle in excess of 354,000 day-patients and outpatient attendances.

The hospital offers secondary-level (hospital and specialist) care, a selected range of community and domiciliary services, and also provides niche specialist tertiary services for regional and national consumers. Internationally, the hospital is known for their work in orthopaedics and spinal injury rehabilitation, as well as being the site of the National Burns Centre.
