Overview

At Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) and Kamloops Mental Health and Substance Use (KMHSU), you’ll serve as an integral part of the addictions treatment team. You’ll apply your expertise and compassion to help navigate the complexities of addiction, working to transform lives through individualized care and support. As an addictions psychiatrist, you’ll contribute to compassionate, comprehensive care across diverse settings, including inpatient, outpatient, community-based and concurrent disorder programs, with a focus on culturally-safe, equitable access to mental health and addictions support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments within an interdisciplinary team.
