+ JOB REQUIREMENTS
+ Education
+ Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with courses in physical sciences preferred.
+ Experience
+ Must have 6 months experience in a sleep center and/or have completed competency checklist for training. Must be able to work alone with patients without supervision. Must have minimum of one year cardiac monitoring, EEG, Respiratory Therapy, or nursing. Must maintain a current CPR card and have knowledge of emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation procedures and maintain a certification in this area. Must be sympathetic to patients’ needs and have a capacity to deal with the severely ill patients. An affinity for electronic equipment and their adjustments would be helpful. Ability to work effectively and efficiently with patients and medical staff. Knowledge of basic cardiac arrhythmias is required. Must be computer literate.
