Role Description 

To strengthen the Compliance Function's capability to assess, challenge and evidence compliance with complex prudential / Banks Act financial risk regulatory requirements by providing an independent second line compliance assurance over the bank's interpretation, implementation and ongoing operation of relevant requirements related financial risk pillars of the bank (, market, credit, capital, liquidity / balance sheet risk).

This role is intended to demonstrate and strengthen compliance technical oversight through (i) robust engagement on Basel reforms and Banks Act regulatory interpretation and (ii) perform targeted assurance that the bank has implemented key prudential requirements appropriately, without duplicating mandate of existing second-line Risk functions.
