Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Property Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will work with the Director of Finance to manage the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of both residential and commercial properties, including general ledger accounting, preparing budgets, year-end billings and financial statements, and providing accounting support to internal teams.
Responsibilities:
Prepare the annual budget, including lease assumptions, utility/property tax forecasting, and contract schedule updatingCollaborate with operations and property administration teams to ensure budgets are completed accurately and submitted on timeEnter all budgets into YARDI with proper monthly spreadsPerform year end CAM (Common Area Maintenance) and Tax recovery calculations, reconciliations and adjustmentsPrepare year-end working paper files, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements and comparat...
