Your responsibilities
- As a Project Purchasing Manager, you are the primary person responsible for purchasing for the defined project portfolio.
- You lead all purchasing activities related to your projects.
- You manage purchases from the concept phase through to production (PPAP).
- You coordinate with the different departments to achieve the set objectives.
- You anticipate supplier capacity and conduct market analyses for innovation, sharing relevant project information with your team.
- You manage supplier contracts and ensure follow-up with the commodity team.
- You lead sourcing meetings for supplier allocation.
- You ensure part replacement and updates during project phases.
- You define and implement the sourcing strategy.
