Position Overview
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement marine field surveys, including biodiversity assessments, habitat mapping, and post-intervention monitoring
- Conduct fieldwork in coastal and offshore environments, focusing on benthic habitats, seagrass ecosystems, and ghost gear retrieval
- Apply scientific methodologies and manage ecological data using tools such as GPS, sonar, underwater cameras, and drones
- Support project planning, including logistics, permitting, and coordination with external partners like research institutions and dive teams
- Process and analyze ecological and spatial data to generate technical reports, baseline assessments, and impact evaluations
- Support monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks to track ecological indicators and project progress
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including government entities and local fishing communities
