To prepare the site for work, which may include planning the work schedules, and establishing on site offices, in accordance to the objectives established by the Project Manager
To monitor progress and ensure that deadlines are met
To ensure good / safe working conditions and that the well-being of workers are the site are taken care of
To coordinate and oversee delivery of materials
To conduct safety checks
To manage and address work related issues as they arise
Formulate the construction as well as maintenance plan
Liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors, planners, contractors as necessary
Ensure that work complies with building regulations, safety codes, design, quality etc
Provide regular progress reports to management
Act as the first point of contact for the Company at the site.
