Description
The Construction Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing plans, specifications, and project requirements. This role plays a critical part in supporting project bidding, budgeting, and overall financial planning to ensure competitive and profitable project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
+ Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope, materials, labor, and timeline requirements
+ Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor bids, and overhead
+ Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing
+ Identify cost risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategies
