Project Engineer

Location: San Luis de la Paz, GTO. / Onsite

BASIC FUNCTION

Under the supervision of the Project Specialist /CIC, this position is responsible to implement the adequate manufacturing processes and the continuous improvement projects aimed to achieve efficiency and productivity, as well as, decrease waste and cost. Improve the working conditions using engineering techniques, update the standard times for all activities on the production areas, perform 5S audits and give follow up to the KOS savings. To be successful in this role, the candidate would need to display an analytical approach on times study and movements, detection of waste activities, and implement effective actions to reduce them.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop activities such as: Cycle time reduction, worker effort and inventory reduction, floor improvement, to improve work conditions, reducing or eliminating waste.
