Project Engineer

A well-established manufacturing company in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa is looking for a Project Engineer.

Basic Function:

Deliver new projects from quotation stage to production stage.

• Project management
• Process design and implementation
• Budget and Capex planning
• Jig, fixture and machine conceptualisation and design
• Innovation of current manufacturing methods
• Problem-solving and investigation

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years automotive engineering experience
• National Diploma / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical experience

Beneficial Experience and Qualifications:

• Core Tools 1, 2 and 3
• Design and drawing experience
• VDA 6.3 Process Auditor Qualification / IATF / MLA
