General Profiling ( is a well-established, industry-leading steel service center, based just south of Johannesburg's CBD in Amalgam with over 300 staff and sales in the hundreds of millions. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Programmer.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive job cards and program the different jobs on the relevant machines.
• Ensure that the machines are constantly running.
• Complete priority job cards with urgency.
• Follow instructions given by the Programming Manager.
• Complete all instructions written in the nightshift book as a priority.
• Address shortages that are authorized immediately and ensure correct paperwork is supplied.
• All parts will be considered as new parts and must be taken from the appropriate drives.
• Ensure all nestings are placed at the appropriate machine by 4pm Monday – Thursday and 1pm on Fridays.
