About Native

Native Discovery (Native) is a social enterprise that facilitates meaningful engagements between indigenous and non-indigenous peoples in Peninsular Malaysia through our programmes and ventures. We envision a world where indigenous people are respected, valued, and meaningfully included in society, leading to a thriving world for everyone.

Allyship is at the core of what we do: we strive to be better allies to the Orang Asli and to support them on their journey of building a better future on their own terms. We do this by creating avenues for meaningful engagement with the Orang Asli, which mainly includes operating sustainable tourism activities and education programmes with corporates and academic institutions. We also initiated Malaysia's first indigenous durian company, Biji Bumi Durian; and Perisa Punan, our sister venture dedicated to featuring the best of Orang Asli cuisine.
