Summary The Program Specialist will provide administrative support to Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Service (PM&R) and the Emergency Medicine Service Line. This position is located at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System in West Haven, CT. This position is Full Time at 40 hours/Week. Responsibilities The duties of this position include but are not limited to the following: Preparing programmatic reports, justifications, charts, graphs, statistical and narrative data for executive level presentations and briefings. Works with leadership to improve effectiveness of workflow and clinical operations. Writes, reviews, and revises documentation, proposals, service agreements, and policies as appropriate. Participates on multi-disciplinary process and action teams to improve operations which cross service lines. Performs budget analyst duties, forecasts, and estimates program requirement.
