Position Overview
Summary This position resides within the Secretariat for Special Operations (SSO), Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict (OASW(SO/LIC)). Under 10 U.S.C. ยงยง 138 and 167, the ASW(SO/LIC) is the principal civilian advisor to the Secretary of War for special operations and oversees SOF readiness, resources, equipment, and civilian personnel. Responsibilities Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Directs and integrates enterprise business operations programs, including financial management, contracting, human resources, information technology, logistics, facilities, and administrative services. Advises senior leadership on organizational strategy, resource allocation, workforce planning, and operational initiatives to achieve mission objectives.
