Summary This position resides within the Secretariat for Special Operations (SSO), Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict (OASW(SO/LIC)). Under 10 U.S.C. §§ 138 and 167, the ASW(SO/LIC) is the principal civilian advisor to the Secretary of War for special operations and oversees SOF readiness, resources, equipment, and civilian personnel. Responsibilities Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Directs and integrates enterprise business operations programs, including financial management, contracting, human resources, information technology, logistics, facilities, and administrative services.
