POSITION SUMMARY
The Program Coordinator, (Umoja-AFFIRM) reports to the Director of Outreach, Student Life and Community Standards at Evergreen Valley College. The work schedule is 12 months per year; Monday – Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Umoja – AFFIRM program serves all EVC students with a particular focus African American student. This program affirms the cultural background of black/African American students and educates all students about the cultural, educational, political, economic, and artistic, contributions of Africans in the diaspora.
The Program Coordinator, (Umoja-AFFIRM) position is a grant funded position and contingent upon yearly funding.
This position is represented by the California School Employees Association (CSEA), Chapter 363.
