Summary The Program Analyst works within the Health Administration Services (HAS) of the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC. The position supports the daily operations of the Beneficiary Travel Section and serves as a point of contact within the section. Responsibilities Major duties and responsibilities include: Uses analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to assess the Beneficiary Travel Section and studies, analyzes, evaluates, and makes recommendations to management on process improvement. Makes eligibility determinations, processes claims, provides administrative coordination in accordance with Beneficiary Travel Regulations, and serves as the subject matter expert within the Beneficiary Section.
