Position Overview
The Medical Faculty, Department of Internal Medicine I (Medical Director Prof. Dr. Thomas Seufferlein), is seeking to fill the position, starting as soon as possible, of a Professor (W3) for translational research on the Influence of Microbiota and Microeukaryotes on Disease Onset and Progression no management responsibilities. The professorship involves leading the field of microbiota and microeukaryotes in both research and teaching. The candidate should demonstrate an independent research profile, evidenced by successful acquisition of third-party funding and high-impact publications in basic and/or translational research on the influence of microbiota and microeukaryotes on the aetiology and progression of diseases, as well as the ability to translate research findings into practice.
