PROFESSOR OF PRACTICE (Three-Year), MUSICAL THEATER DANCE, SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY


SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY – The Department of Drama, within the College of Visual and Performing Arts, a highly ranked BFA program uniquely integrated with a major regional theater, seeks to hire a Professor Practice of Musical Theater, Dance. The ideal candidate will teach a variety of levels and styles of dance applicable to contemporary musical theater performance. The department is particularly interested in hiring and developing new faculty who have the communication abilities and cross-cultural competencies to maximize their effectiveness with many different groups of students, colleagues, and community members. We are looking for collaborative colleagues who will participate in the life of a vibrant department and remain active in their field. This is a three-year position beginning Fall 2026.
