What can you expect as a MICU Nurse at UPMC Hamot?
This unit services patients with medical and oncology related conditions requiring intensive care, including post-cardiopulmonary arrest/resuscitation, patients with one or more system failure requiring observation and/or active management, circulatory failure requiring massive volume expansion and/or vasoactive medications, invasive monitoring, and respiratory failure requiring endotracheal intubation with mechanical ventilation.
