The Role
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
To perform Safe set up and operation of fasten manufacturing processes, including (Forging Heat-treatment, Sorting, collation) Complying to company work procedures and instructions at all times.· To rotate around the processes as production demands require, ensuring you keep up to date with new skill and process changes as required.· Regularly monitor production to ensure it meets the required quality standards on the process you are working on.· Conduct regular maintenance (TPM checks) and support breakdown maintenance as required.· Work closely with the team leader and lead operator to ensure production meets agreed deadlines.· Use overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) as the tool to help highlight potential issues and support improvement activities within the production areas· Liaise closely with c...
