The Production Manager, VISSC is responsible for ensuring that the production work assigned to their zone is completed on time and as per customer requirements. The role requires a specialization in electric, welding, pipefitting, mechanical, ship fitting or sheet metal and the incumbent works closely with the Submarine Senior Production Manager. This front‑line supervisory position manages a minimum of 25 unionized employees, plans, coordinates, and schedules daily activities of the project, and oversees all trades within one of the Submarine zones (Forward, Aft, or Exterior).
