The Production Manager, VISSC is responsible for ensuring that the production work assigned to their zone is completed on time and as per customer requirements. The role requires a specialization in electric, welding, pipefitting, mechanical, ship fitting or sheet metal and the incumbent works closely with the Submarine Senior Production Manager. This front‑line supervisory position manages a minimum of 25 unionized employees, plans, coordinates, and schedules daily activities of the project, and oversees all trades within one of the Submarine zones (Forward, Aft, or Exterior). The position is fully on‑site based at 825 Admirals Road, Victoria, and reports directly to the Submarine Senior Production Manager.
