Position Overview
- Good understanding of Conventional and CNC Lathes, Slotting, Planer and Milling Machines.
- Productivity/output – accountable for ensuring that production schedules are met on a daily/weekly/quarterly basis during shifts.
- Supervises direct labour / production employees.
- Monitor and prioritise workflow of production to meet deadlines.
- Report on key production output, measurement of work centre utilisation and productivity.
- Ensure booked versus paid hours are accounted for.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives and root‑cause production slowdowns.
- Ensure strict adherence to Quality Management Systems.
- Accountable for Health & Safety for all work areas and employees on duty.
