Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures. . Reviewing, comparing, analysing, and approving products and services to be purchased. . Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records. . Preparing weekly costings for all purchase items. . Monitoring slow moving stocks and maintaining a healthy stock level. . Preparing daily quotation for sales department for non-stock items. . Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc. . Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts or price and reporting on any non-conforming products to suppliers . Monitoring incoming shipments and liaising with forwarders to ensure shipments arrive on time.
