The Procurement team at the Christchurch City Council operates as an integral part of the Risk, Finance and Performance group to provide a framework that ensures there is a best practice procurement applied across all Council procurement activities in alignment with Council's vision, strategic priorities and community outcomes. The team is a shared service provide and enabler of Council's business units. Conducting procurement in a centre‑led manner, the Procurement team champions the quality and execution of the procurement and contract management life‑cycle.
