Position Overview
The Procurement Assistant will be responsible fortheAdministration of general Supply Chain functions and liaising with external and internal stakeholders.
Duties and responsibilities
- Liaising with external and internal stakeholders
- Order management (place, confirm estimated time of arrival, receiving, escalation)
- Book shipments with freight forwarders
- Track shipments
- Track GRVs (Good received vouchers)
- Action ASNs (Advanced Shipping Notices) with distributor
- Local manufacturing administration (Order Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and
- Packaging and place orders with local manufacturers)
- Stock control (UPD Distribution Centre snapshot, Inter Branch Transfers (IBT), Cape
Town Replenishment etc) - Weekly stock report (Communication with sales)
- Create payment requisitions
- Communication with Quality Assurance (QA) regarding urgent releases
