The Process Safety Design Engineer is responsible for developing and integrating process safety strategies and engineering solutions into facility designs, ensuring compliance with international safety standards and reducing operational risk across oil & gas facilities. This role involves working across multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compliant, and cost-effective engineering solutions in both greenfield and brownfield projects.
Key Responsibilities Lead and support process safety design activities across project lifecycle stages (conceptual, FEED, detailed design). Conduct Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), including HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, SIL studies. Develop and maintain safety documentation including Bow-Tie diagrams, safety philosophies, Cause & Effect charts, and fire & explosion risk assessments (FERA).
